British artist Aaron Savage has recreated this collection of iconic album covers rendered with everyones favourite childhood plastic bricks, Lego.
Producing a playful yet stylistic approach, Savage offers his re-imagining of classic covers from the likes of David Bowie’s ‘Aladdin Sane’ to Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Boy In Da Corner’.

With just your imagination, these little plastic bricks will realize facsimiles of your dreams, even the “dirty ones”. As part of his 2008 series, PIXXXEL, for Amusement Magazine, photographer JeanYves Lemoigne surveyed the decadence of human creativity and quite literally redefine the term “playmates” with model in erotic poses pixelated in LEGO bricks forms. The series also gives another meaning to the term “adult entertainment”.

The slick, fast-talking 60s-set drama has been exported to the world of clip-on hair and hands with great success. Comic artist and illustrator Adam Cadwell branched out into the world of Lego for the first time with these ‘mad’ creations.
If you think something as genius as this might be beyond your Lego skills, you’re wrong.
“All the parts I have used are official Lego pieces, I haven’t customised anything in any way,” Cadwell says. So raid your nephew’s toy box and start getting creative.
