INSA: Girls On Bike.
British artist INSA’s latest ongoing public installation project is finally coming to London in alongside his collaboration with contemporary cycling wear brand MILLTAG for a series of limited edition bike jerseys featuring his latest imagery.
In this set of photographic works INSA orchestrates a conflicting dialogue between all the elements and explicitly subordinates the value of his own street art to both the possessed object of the bike and the overtly sexualized female presence. Thus questioning our individual perceptions of ownership of public space, of sexuality and of belonging(s).
Plus, on the opening night Luardos will be bringing their freshly custom painted taco truck to the space to serve up the best fish tacos.

Protein x INSA “Summer Spectrum” GIF-ITTI Project.
Continuing to bring us his innovative form of GIF-ITTI, London-based street artist INSA has now taken part in the opening of ‘Animate Everything’, an exhibition curated by creative outfit, Protein.
Further delving in to the growing trend of GIF format animations and other digital-base mediums, Protein asked 20 artists to submit their web based media art works to be exhibited at Protein’s headquarters in Shoreditch, East London.
Creating the centerpiece for the show, INSA was asked to adorn the structure’s exterior wall with the design you see above (click on the image to see it in action) which the artist has entitled, “Summer Spectrum” - a colourful repetition.

INSA GIF-ITTI Project.
After his recent exhibition at Upper Playground, street artist INSA embarked upon a mural project at White Walls of UNIT 44.
Bringing his innovative GIF-ITTI to the White Walls Project this is perhaps his biggest and most complex moving piece to date with this rudimentary animation design.
Taking three days to re-paint this monster wall four times helped create this completely original result.
The beauty of INSA’s GIF-ITI is that it only truly lives when viewed online, where these days most street art ends up being viewed, and exaggerates the ephemeral nature of graffiti as each layer is painted instantly over the last. Mixing retro internet technology and labour intensive painting, INSA creates slices of infinite un-reality, cutting edge art for the tumblr generation.
